After breakfast depart for Tarangire National Park. You'll have a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Tarangire has a diverse landscape, with nine vegetation zones. Ancient Baobab trees (the largest trees in Africa) dot the landscape dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River, which meanders through the park attracts an abundance of wildlife, from elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, zebras, giraffes, antelopes to a variety of colourful birds. The park is very famous for having the greatest elephant population in Tanzania. During a safari, you will have the chance to quietly observe many families of elephants interacting. You will stop for a picnic lunch in an observatory inside the park where you will be able to view animals’ drinking water in the river (and many times lions attacking a thirsty zebra or wildebeest). You'll continue game viewing after lunch. Later, you'll return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Depart after breakfast and drive across the Great Rift Valley to Lake Manyara National Park for a full day game drive. Although only 205sq miles in size, this enchanting park is noted for its beauty and incredibly lush acacia forest of giant fig and mahogany trees, which are home to troops of baboons and blue monkeys. The park is also home to large numbers of buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, impalas and a hippo lake, where large numbers of hippos usually gather. Well known for its birds (over 400 different species), Lake Manyara is one of the few places where you’ll be able to see the ground hornbill and the crested eagle. This park has become famous for tree-climbing lions and the flamingos on the lakeshore. The landscapes of this park are absolutely stunning, very different from the Serengeti for example. The game drives are done along the shore of the lake, providing incredible views of giraffes and buffaloes in the foreground with the lake, flamingos and flat plains on the horizon.

After breakfast, we'll head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we'll descend into the heart of wild Africa—the Serengeti National Park —with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We will head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area. It's one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River. The river provides a valuable water source to this area, therefore, attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We will arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti National Park.

We will do an after breakfast game viewing drive along the Sogore River Circuit, which loops into the plains south of the Seronera River. It is good for possible lion, Thomson gazelle, topi, ostrich and cheetah sightings. Afterwards, we will enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch at the visitors center in the shade of the giant acacia trees.
In the afternoon, we will follow the Kopjes Circuit, which goes anti-clockwise around the Maasai Kopjes, which usually attract a number of lion and some formidably large cobras. Kopjes are weathered granite outcrops, scattered around the plains, most of which are miniature ecosystems, providing shade and drinking water in pools left in the rock after the rains. This makes the kopjes particularly good for spotting wildlife in the dry seasons including lions, which like to lie in wait for animals coming to drink!

On this day we will head to Ngorongoro & then descend over 600m into the crater to view wildlife. Supported by a year round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro Crater supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park is its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater. A large number of flamingos, hippos and other water birds can be seen here. After the game drive, we will start ascending from the crater and head to the lodge for dinner & overnight.

See What Our Travellers Have To Say
Hongyi Xu2025-09-05We spent 7 days at Kenya with Ramble. Aron and Edward were our driver guides and they are highly experienced, skilled and friendly. Highly recommend them for your Safari experience. Paul was our agent and was responsive and accommodate our travel requests smoothly and efficiently. Thank you Ramble and CWPC(the twin company) for this memorable experience.
Ann Zhu2025-09-02Our trip from Kenya to Tanzania was amazing! Everything was well organized from start to finish In Kenya, our guide Moris was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw and learned a lot about the animals! We had an unforgettable safari experience and felt really well taken care of. I will definitely choose them again!
ashlee king2025-08-25An enjoyable trip it was. Our trip with my sister was specifically to visit the Masai Mara to witness the yearly wildebeest and zebra migration from Tanzania into Kenya. It was a busy season but Ramble Africa Safaris seamlessly planned this trip, through Paul, very responsive and caring. Our guide, Edward, who took us deep into the wilderness where we saw many lions, cheetas, and a leopard hunting. We were lucky to be right on time at the river banks to witness the dangerous crossing. I have so much to say, but you have to come see for yourself! Great hotels, foods and people. The Ramble Africa Safaris team was outstanding.
B Y Patel2025-08-23We had the most incredible safari thanks to the seamless organization by Paul Oduor. He was so helpful in planning the perfect trip for our family of ten—myself, my wife, our three children with their spouses, and our two grandchildren. The logistics were flawless, and the entire experience was a dream come true for everyone. The journey itself was unforgettable, taking us through the breathtaking landscapes of Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, Samburu, and Amboseli. Each park offered a unique and spectacular experience, from the vast plains of the Mara to the iconic elephants of Amboseli. A huge part of what made our trip so special were our amazing driver-guides, Victor and Morris. Their knowledge was exceptional, and they knew exactly where to find the wildlife, making every game drive an adventure. They were also so patient and kind with our whole family, especially our grandchildren, and their passion for the animals and the environment was contagious. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we all had a fantastic time. This safari was a once-in-a-lifetime trip that created memories we'll cherish forever. We highly recommend this experience and extend our heartfelt thanks to Paul for his expert planning and to Victor and Morris for being such incredible guides.
Ray Lee2025-08-14I booked a private trip for two with my sister. I booked our first safari trip early in Feb, Paul was the most responsive one among all the travel agencies I contacted, that's why I chose Ramble. I had very good communication with Paul for the itinerary of our trip, he provided professional suggestions, explained clearly of different places and answered all my stupid questions so that we can plan our trips according to our wishes. And our tour guide cum driver, Victor, he is very professional. He just like a big brother and take care about all the things during our trip, he taught us many knowledge about the wildlife and local people. During our safari, he always try to let us to see the animals in a good position. And he is also a kindhearted and helpful man who helped his friend's whose car was stuck in the muddy road. Though there were some accidents which makes our trip unforgettable, Victor and Paul did communicate well and made speedy actions so that we can continue our trip safely with little delay only. With the good communication and the sense of responsibility, I highly recommend Ramble for the trips in Africa, they are reliable and the price is also reasonable.

Jinghan Ma2025-06-28We booked the 8-day, 7-night safari tour and it was truly unforgettable. We saw an incredible number of animals — from lions mating, to a buffalo being taken down, to a cheetah chasing antelopes — it felt like we were inside a nature documentary. Our driver Maurice was outstanding — experienced, calm, and with an incredible sense of direction and judgment. He always knew where to go and what to look for, and made sure we didn’t miss a single highlight. The accommodations and meals throughout the trip were very satisfying, and everything was well-organized and comfortable. I brought my mom to celebrate her retirement, and she couldn’t have been happier. If you’re traveling with family and want to experience the best of African wildlife, this tour is 100% worth it. Highly recommended!
Curtis Eleazer2025-06-25When we visit in May 2023, we received the wait m welcome, And the experience was breathtaking. The tour guide and driver Domnic was quite informative and being a Native Masia knew the wilderness with Experience second to none. The company organized a free Masia Culture visit which Domnic did as well. I love every aspect of the Safari And it was worth all my money. I would highly recommend Ramble Africa Safari.
stef hillis2025-06-21To try to keep this brief , my trip which was actually booked last minute had every obstacle placed in front of me before I even left. The week prior to when I was travelling I had a fraudulent $4700 credit card charge on the one and only credit card I have. Got the replacement day of my travel in addition to car breaking down which I needed to drive 2 hours to Dulles for my flight departure. Then I was informed my Safari accommodations were changing and that about did it in for me since I really researched the orginal lodging. I was traveling single so this was very very important to me Anyway I was now either going to cancel or just go on blind faith which my husband and everyone else I knew said CANCEL. Luckily I followed my intuition and was basically at Paul s mercy and he pulled through 100%. So much so that I refer to him now as my Kenyan husband. He would text at the end of the day to see how everything was and the if the accommodations were up to par. Seriously I have never done business with someone some genuine and going above and beyond. I had a little ruffle with our driver but this will never diminish Paul because not only is he a knowledgeable tour director but a truly decent human being I have recommended this company and specifically Paul to many of my many former American Airlines co workers You will not go wrong with Paul and choosing Ramble Africa for your safari
S K2025-06-20We recently travelled with Ramble Africa Safaris and had a memorable experience overall—I’d rate it 4 out of 5. What went well: Both Paul and Victor were extremely responsive and supportive throughout. Victor, in particular, deserves a full 5 stars—he was not only an excellent safari guide but also incredibly kind and accommodating with our children. He handled everything with calm and care, including helping us when our daughter unexpectedly fell ill—he guided us through hospital visits and ensured we were comfortable and looked after. The hotels were well chosen—beautifully located and surrounded by wildlife. The safaris themselves were a highlight, and Victor’s warmth and deep knowledge made them even more special. When we couldn’t travel to Amboseli as originally planned due to our daughter’s illness, Paul swiftly arranged flights for us the next day, allowing us to still enjoy that part of the trip. That kind of flexibility and service was deeply appreciated. Where things could improve: There were a few logistical issues that were difficult, especially with young kids: - No one showed up to pick us up at Nairobi airport, and after a long international flight, we had to use roaming data and arrange our own Uber. - The first day’s 7-hour drive to Masai Mara was rough, and by the time we arrived, the hotel said we were too late for lunch. Victor did his best, but it couldn’t be fixed—tough after such a long journey. - In Naivasha, we didn’t get connecting rooms, which made things tricky as a family. - On the drive back from Naivasha to Nairobi, we didn’t receive packed lunches—apparently because we had used them the previous day when we stayed back due to our daughter’s illness. Unfortunately, no one told us, and with no food stops on the way, it turned into a long, hangry journey. Plus, the driver (who wasn't Victor) told us to relax in the restaurant and eat, misjudging how much time we had. We took a takeaway to eat at the airport and just barely made the flight. - None of the rooms we stayed in had air conditioning, which made a few hot afternoons and nights quite uncomfortable—this might be worth clarifying in advance, especially for families travelling with young children. Final thoughts: Despite these bumps, I would still recommend Ramble Africa Safaris—especially for Victor’s kindness, competence, and heart, and Paul’s responsiveness. With some improvement in logistics and clearer communication on comfort levels, this could easily become a 5-star experience.
